Better Late was born - to create a compilation of music that sounds like an album, and to find like-minded artists who are focussed on creating a palette of sound that resonates with each other. Lowlit's sound is the sound of the earth - of organic textures, subtle melodies and lush ecosystems where the approach is to think more and make less, backed by a strong belief that the smallest sounds have the largest impact. Following the critically acclaimed release of it's first instalment in 2016, Lowlit is proud to present. The compilation has been created by a combination of artists who are both young in the scene such as Schlick, Muteverb, Block-2 and Monophonik as well artists who have been pushing the envelop in their own capacity for the past few years such as Film, Frame/Frame and Ox7gen (in his 'Solar' avatar with Schlick). This vision is something the label has been pursuing for the past one year, trying to squeeze the very best out of our friends and co-conspirators - our homage to Mother Earth is now ready.
