Anybody never heard of Moullinex? We can?t imagine. Blogs, music mags and DJ?s
have been getting mad about the digitalfunk of Luis Clara Gomes ? better known
as Moullinex. And all this with only one official release! (Breakchops EP 2009).
The remix for Two Door Cinema Club (Kitsune) has been a real club hit and his
Sebastien Tellier remix was the one that had been most featured on playlists
(along with A?Trak?s remix). Yes: the remix for Cut Copy on Modular was a bomb,
too and his Telonius remix is currently playlisted all around.Guess that?s the
reason why so many labels have been chasing Moullinex to sign on them. Some have
been really pushing him hard to join their roster, but Luis preferred to stay
with his Munich buddies at Gomma. And so now it is sure: this new Moullinex EP
is only the beginning of a whole series for Gomma records.
